By Barbie Krieger, Sr, GK, West Chester, Ohio On our way to downtown Munich, we saw a former World Cup stadium which houses the home games of club Baron Munich. When we arrived in Munich, we met our tour guides Ivanna and Thomas the bus driver, and our pink mercedes bus. We then visited Residence plaza and Marion plaza named after the virgin Mary. While sightseeing, we visited the Hofbrahouse and the market place. We ate a typical German lunch of brats and sauerkraut and then began our two hour journey to Salzburg, Austria while admiring the Alps and other Austrian countryside. Upon arriving in Salzburg, we dropped our bags off at the hotel and had in a quick training session. Immediatly follwing training, we went to Fürberg's for dinner where we had ribs, wings, salad, and dessert. After dinner, we went to the hotel and relaxed after our long trip to Europe and turned in for an early night at 11. |
