Schaadt, Sanders, Pisut earn NSCAA All-Region Honors

ADA - Junior Katie Schaadt (Westerville/St. Francis de Sales) and sophomores Kaitlin Sanders (Kendallville, Ind./East Nobel) and Angie Pisut (Huber Heights/Carroll) were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Region teams. Voting was conducted by every coach in the Great Lakes Region.
Schaadt was named to the First Team All-Region, Sanders to the Second Team and Pisut to the Third Team. This is the first time for all three players earning All-Region honors.
Polar Bears announce freshman class of 11 incoming student-athletes

ADA — The Ohio Northern women’s soccer team, led by fifth-year head coach Mark Batman, has announced the 11 incoming freshmen in its 2008 recruiting class.
The incoming class is comprised of four midfielders, three defenders, two forwards and two goal keepers.
The Polar Bears open the regular season on the road at the R.I.T. (N.Y.) Classic on Aug. 30-31.
Northern will face host R.I.T. on Aug. 30 and Allegheny (Pa.) on Aug. 31.
ONU will open its home schedule against Witteberg on Sept. 17.
ONU Women's Soccer hits the road to start 2008 season
ADA - The Ohio Northern women's soccer team will play the first six games of the 2008 season away from home, starting at the Rochester Institute of Technology (N.Y.) Classic on August 30-31.
The Polar Bears, who return nine starters and 19 letterwinners from its 2007 OAC Regular Season title team, will take on host RIT in the opening game of the tournament on Aug. 30 and will face Allegheny (Pa.) on Aug. 31.

ADA - Junior Katie Schaadt (Westerville/St. Francis de Sales) and sophomores Kaitlin Sanders (Kendallville, Ind./East Nobel) and Angie Pisut (Huber Heights/Carroll) were named to the D3Kicks.com All-Great Lakes Region team. Voting was conducted by all coaches in the Great Lakes Region.
All three players were named to the second team in addition to all three player's earlier honor on the National Soccer Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region Teams.
