No. 16 Polar Bears to host first annual ONU Spring Fling Saturday

ADA — The No. 16-ranked Ohio Northern women's golf team will host the ONU Spring Fling Saturday at Darby Creek Golf Course in Marysville.

The Polar Bears (37-4) added the tournament on Thursday after the Mount Union Invitational was cancelled due to unplayable conditions at Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance.

The 18-hole tournament will get underway with a shotgun start at 11 am. No less than six teams are expected to play in the tournament.

Darby Creek Golf Coourse will play to a par of 72 over 5,942 yards.

Ohio Northern will also host the annual Lady Polar Bear Invitational on April 6 at Colonial Golfers Club and the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships April 26-27 at Colonial Golfers Club.
