By Alyssa Ahlers UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS The Ohio Northern women finished fourth at the 2007 OAC Championship title Saturday at John Carroll. The Lady Polar Bears (55-39) finished with 101 points. Baldwin-Wallace was first place with 27 points, Otterbein was second place with 85 points, and Mount Union was third place with 95 points. Leading for the Polar Bears was Rachel Smith, finishing 14th place out of 100 runners in 24:28. Finishing off ONU’s top five was Amy Davis in 15th place in 24:40, Amanda Binkey in 20th place in 24:54, Molly Elderbrock in 24th place in 25:12, and Ragina Bresson in 28th place in 25:22. Davis and Smith earned All-OAC honors. The women’s team is now 55-39 for the season. Both ONU’s men and women’s cross country teams will be in action on Nov. 10 for the NCAA III Regionals at Cavin, Mich. |
