Leonard-Fleckman, a three time returning national qualifier, took eighth place in 2006, returning two years later to win the title her senior year. Until attempting the NCAA meet record of 12-11.75, Leonard-Fleckman only missed a height once. In close competition was second place sophomore Rachel Secrest from North Central, vaulting 12-8.
Vaulting 12-4 were sophomores Anna Heim of Moravian finishing fourth and Etta Grover-Silva of Smith finished fifth. Tying for sixth place at 12-0 were senior Shanna Dawson of Gustavus Adolphus and junior Ashley Dodd of Waynesburg. In eighth place, also vaulting 12-0, was sophomore Amie Fillmore of St. Olaf. |
