Now a two time All-American, Kaul clocked in at 14:23.43, which established a new fieldhouse record that was set by Pat Frascone of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2002. Sigl, who is also a two time All-American, finished in a time of 14:23.44, only .01 of a second behind the national champion. A two time All-American, Hany Abdallah of New York ran a strong race and even had the lead for a few laps before finishing in third. The senior finished with a time of 14:31.41.
Cortland SUNY junior Shamus Nally and sophomore Seth DuBois earned fifth and eighth respectively. Nally recorded a time of 14:38.72 to finish fifth and DuBois clocked in at 14:50.58 to clinch eighth. Senior Chris Erichsen of St. John’s (Minn.) ran a strong race and finished sixth with a time of 14:40.19, while Wartburg junior Brian Chenoweth (14:45.44) finished seventh. |
