Glenn Scheutzow is in his fourth season as head men’s tennis coach and assistant football coach at Ohio Northern University.

He also serves as strength and conditioning coordinator for the men’s and women’s tennis programs and will be a lecturer in ONU’s human performance and sport sciences department. He coaches the defensive line on the football team.

Scheutzow has guided the Polar Bears to three consecutive OAC regular season titles, the 2007 and 2008 OAC Tournament titles and the school's first NCAA two Tournament appearances in 2007 and 2008.

"I am very excited to start another season at Ohio Northern," said Scheutzow. "Each and every year we strive to eliminate our weaknesses and further develop our strengths."

Scheutzow comes to Northern from Baldwin-Wallace, where he was an assistant football coach for six seasons.

He was also the coordinator of the strength and conditioning program for the football team at BW.

He is a 1999 graduate of Baldwin-Wallace. While at BW, Scheutzow was a four-year letterman who started 30 varsity games and was the Most Valuable Defensive Lineman in 1998.

Scheutzow brings an extensive background in strength and training.

He resides in Ada.

Assistant Coach Scott Wills

Scott Wills enters his fifth season as assistant coach of the ONU Men's Tennis team. Wills is also the head coach of the Ohio Northern Women’s Tennis Program and serves as Director of Development for the College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern.

The Fort Wayne, Indiana, native graduated from Ohio Northern in 1987 with a Bachelors Degree in Business administration. He earned the MBA degree from Ashland University in 1991.

Coach Wills has an extensive tennis background. He is a member of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and United States Tennis Association.

While at ONU, Wills was a four-year letterman on the men’s tennis squad under legendary coach Mark Lenssen. He played #1 singles and #1 doubles all four years, was an All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree in 1986 and 1987 and served as team captain as a senior. Wills posted a 21-13 singles record and was 22-11 in doubles play from 1985-87. He helped the Polar Bears amass a 34-10 record during his four seasons, including a 10-0 mark in 1987.

Coach Wills resides in Ada with his wife Jamie and daughters Mackenzie and Miranda.
