Ohio Northern senior George Chesney named OAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior George Chesney (North Olmsted) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week for the week of Nov. 17-23.
Chesney swept the 1- and 3-meter diving events to lead the Ohio Northern men’s swimming and diving team to a 128-115 victory over Wittenberg Friday night at the ONU Sports Center.
Chesney bettered the NCAA “B” cut in the 3-meter diving with a score of 287.50. He also won the 1-meter with a score of 248.70.

ADA -- George Chesney swept the 1- and 3-meter diving events to lead the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team to a 128-115 victory over Wittenberg Friday night at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears improve to 4-2, while the Tigers fall to 5-2.

WOOSTER — Ohio Northern men’s swimming and diving traveled to Hillsdale (Mich.) and were downed by Olivet (Mich.) 130-109 Saturday afternoon at the John McAvoy Natatorium.
The Polar Bears dropped to 3-2 overall this season, while the Comets improved to 2-2 overall.
