Six Ohio Northern male athletes earned At-Large Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors as voted upon by conference's ten faculty representatives.
Seniors Chase Cummings (Tulsa, Okla./Liberty-Benton), Wes Immler (Lorain/Amherst Steele) and juniors Ryan Paul (West Milton/Milton-Union) and Kyle Webb (Wapakoneta) earned First Team honors while junior David Penny (Union/Milton-Union) and Brett Kuhn (Tiffin/Columbian) garnered Honorable Mention honors.

Michael Schultz finishes 20th in 1650 free on Day 3 of NCAA Division III Championships
OXFORD — Ohio Northern freshman Michael Schultz finished in 20th place of 22 swimmers in the 1650 free on Day 3 of the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday evening at the University of Miami's Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.
"This meet has been a good experience for me, as it was much different than I thought it would be," said Schultz. "There were so many fast swimmers who improved their times, and now I can learn from this for next season."
Schultz posted a time of 16:05.29, his second fastest time in the event this season.
His 20th-place finish was just four spots shy of garnering Honorable Mention All-America honors.

OXFORD — Ohio Northern freshman Michael Schultz broke his own school record in the 200-yard freestyle on the second day of the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships Friday afternoon at the University of Miami's Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.
Schultz finished in 32nd place out of 41 swimmers in 1:43.49, which shaved .65 of a second off his previous school record of 1:44.14.

OXFORD — Ohio Northern freshman Michael Schultz finished 31st nationally in the 500-yard free style on the first day of the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday afternoon at the University of Miami's Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.
Schultz finished in 4:43.16, more than six seconds off his qualifying time and ONU record of 4:36.38.
