Ohio Northern wins five events at season-opening OAC Relays

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team won five events at the season-opening Ohio Athletic Conference Relays Saturday afternoon at Wilmington.

The meet was non-scoring.

Adam Lill was part of four winning teams while Brett Kuhn and Garrett Dauch won three to lead the Polar Bears.

Kuhn and Lill teamed with John Miller and Michael Schultz to win the 400-meter freestyle in a time of 3:51.33.

Lill then joined Dauch, Nick Swint and Andre Velez to win the 250 freestyle in 2:22.34.

The third Polar Bear winning team featured Dauch with Mike Anderson, Casey Davis, and Ryan Oberst winning the 400-meter medley in a time of 4:30.76.

In the 200-meter freestyle, Lill, Kuhn, Miller and John Fusco teamed to win the event in 1:43.00.

The fifth win came in the 800-meter freestyle. Kuhn, Schultz, Davis and Andrew Stephon won the event in 8:38.31.

In the 200-meter mixed medley, Lill and Dauch team with Katherine Moore and Hannah Bukowy from the women's swim team with win the event in 2:03.99.

The Polar Bears will be in action next Friday when they travel back to Wilmington for an OAC-dual meet at 6 pm.
