Former ONU standout Chad Bostelman named men’s golf coach, assistant men’s basketball coach

ADA — Former Ohio Northern basketball standout Chad Bostelman is returning to his alma mater to serve as head men’s golf coach and assistant men’s basketball coach.
Bostelman, a 2005 graduate, returns to the Polar Bears after one year as an assistant coach at Ohio Wesleyan and two seasons as a graduate assistant at Heidelberg.
Immler, Cummings named Academic All-America in MGolf
Ohio Northern senior golfers Chase Cummings (Tulsa, Okla./Liberty-Benton) and Wes Immler (Lorain/Amherst Steele) were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Men’s At-Large team as voted upon by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Immler is a Second Team honoree and Cummings earned Third Team honors.
Both men were also named First Team Academic All-District IV and Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference this year.
Cummings, Immler, Paul named 1st Team Academic All-District IV
Six Ohio Northern male athletes earned At-Large Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors as voted upon by conference's ten faculty representatives.
Seniors Chase Cummings (Tulsa, Okla./Liberty-Benton), Wes Immler (Lorain/Amherst Steele) and juniors Ryan Paul (West Milton/Milton-Union) and Kyle Webb (Wapakoneta) earned First Team honors while junior David Penny (Union/Milton-Union) and Brett Kuhn (Tiffin/Columbian) garnered Honorable Mention honors.
