Polar Bears finishes fifth at
Urbana Invitational

CHESTERLAND — The Ohio Northern men’s golf team finished fifth at the Urbana Invitational Friday afternoon at the Woodlands Golf Course.

The Polar Bears carded a 479 for the 27-hole event. Owens finished first with a 446 followed by Cedarville at 456, Urbana at 462 and Shawnee State at 477.

Senior Dan Brodnik led Ohio Northern's A team with a 116 total. Freshman Tom Repicky was right behind him at 117 to lead ONU's B team. Brodnik finished 12th while Repicky was tied for 13th.

Senior Chase Cummings and junior Ben Kretz each finished in the top 20 with rounds of 120 and a tie for 19th.

The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 15 at the OAC Fall Invitational at Fowlers Mill in Chesterland Ohio.
