NAPERVILLE, ILL. Ohio Northern junior Dani Noe and the men’s 4x100-meter relay team each improved upon their NCAA provisional times Friday at the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central (Ill.).
Noe, the 2008 Ohio Athletic Conference women’s 400-meter hurdle champion, ran a time of 1:03.32 in 400 hurdle to better her previous mark of 1:03.54. Noe finished third in the 16-women field.
The men’s 4x100-meter relay team of senior Ryan Robertson, junior Justin Linzy and freshmen Ryan Fleming and Julian Horn bettered their NCAA provisional time with a third place finish at 41.82. The team, which finished second at the OAC Championships, bested its previous mark of 41.89.
Robertson, the OAC Champion in the long jump, also competed in the long jump and the 200-meter dash on Friday. He jumped 22-9 to claim the long jump title and finished sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.48.
In the 110-meter hurdles, freshman Garrett Brown ran a season-best time of 15.81 to finish second in the event.
The women’s 4x100-meter relay team of senior Amy Swigert and sophomores Janelle Jansen, Karen Thatcher and Kristen Yoho turned in its best performance of the season with a third place finish in a time of 49.63. Their previous best was 49.71.
