Today, we started off the day with a light breakfast at the hotel and then headed to the only island in Germany, Lindau.

Here were we all able to experience the different things the island has to offer – some went paddle boating and swimming, while others explored all the shopping and little restaurants the little island had to offer.

There were local farmers all over the island selling their fresh fruits that were absolutely amazing. Also, there were vendors all along the shore that provided cool little souvenirs.

After Lindau, we visited St. Gallen where people were able to explore the many different buildings the city has to offer. The library was a big building with thousands and thousands of books and the amazing style of wood work.

Next, most visited the stunning Cathedral with paintings and gold everywhere.

Later that night we played the FC Staad team in Switzerland. The field was surrounded by cute little houses and the mountains were visible in the distance.

The other team is known as Seemàdchen, or Lake Girls, and the community surrounding the field is called Bùtzel. We were defeated 3-1 but put up a tough fight. We were down 1-0 at half time and fought our way back to a tie in the second, but they put in two more goals near the end to make the final score.

Amy Endres finished a great corner kick from Kaitlin Sanders and many others had some great opportunities.

Although the game did not end in our favor, we had a great day in Lindau and St. Gallen.
