By Alyssa Ahlers WESTERVILLE The Ohio Northern men’s cross country team finished ninth and the women finished 11th at the Otterbein Invitational Saturday afternoon. Both the men’s and women’s teams rested their top seven runners. Leading ONU’s women cross country team was sophmore Becca Silverstein, finishing 48th place out of 181 women in 25:20. Finishing ONU’s top five were Susan Hess placing 69th in 26:00, Steph Hiser in 81st place in 26:26, Sharon Snyder in 85th place in 26:34, and Megan Snydar in 92nd place in 26:54. In the women’s competition, No. 27-ranked DePauw (Ind.) was victorious with 29 points. ONU scored 283 points to finish ninth of the 16 teams.
